The Barton Perreira Bolsha is an oversized square sunglass in Japanese acetate, shown here in Bonaire Sand with Berry Kiss lenses. It's one of the frames the brand built its reputation on: generously scaled, thick through the rim, and squared off rather than rounded at the corners.
Bonaire Sand is a warm neutral, and the berry-tinted lenses read rose rather than brown in daylight. Together they keep the frame lighter on the face than a black or tortoise of the same size would. Anti-reflective coating on the rear lens surface cuts the glare that bounces back when the sun is behind you.
Fit
54mm eye, 19mm bridge, 143mm temple — a medium to wider face. The acetate is core-wired, so any optician can adjust the temples and bridge without the frame springing back to its original shape.
