Returns & Exchanges Overview

Return eligibility depends on the product type and purchase method (online vs. in-store). To maintain quality standards, all returned items must be received unused, unworn, and in original condition, with all original packaging and materials.

Eye Gallery of Scarsdale reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet these standards.

In-Store Purchases & General Returns

Eligible Returns

  • Frames only are eligible for return or exchange

  • Returns must be requested within 30 days of the original purchase date

  • Items must be:

    • Unworn

    • Undamaged

    • Returned in original packaging

Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)

Due to the customized nature of optical products, the following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Prescription lenses

  • Contact lenses

  • Customized or special-order eyewear

  • Items marked Final Sale

Refunds (Eligible In-Store Purchases)

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original form of payment

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

  • Refunds are processed after inspection and approval of the returned item

Online Return Policy (Sunglasses Only)

This section applies only to online purchases of sunglasses.

Online Sunglasses Returns

  • Online sunglasses may be returned within 14 days of delivery, as confirmed by the carrier

  • Eligible returns will receive store credit only

  • Refunds to the original form of payment are not offered for online sunglasses

Online Return Eligibility

To qualify for an online return, sunglasses must:

  • Be unused, unworn, and in pristine condition

  • Include all original packaging, cases, and accessories

  • Show no signs of wear, damage, or alteration

Store Credit Terms (Online Sunglasses Returns)

  • Store credit equals the original purchase price, excluding shipping and handling

  • Store credit may be redeemed online or in-store at Eye Gallery of Scarsdale

  • Store credit:

    • Is non-transferable
    • Has no cash value
    • Cannot be redeemed for cash

Return Authorization (All Returns)

  • All returns and exchanges require prior approval

  • Please contact us before sending any item back

  • Unauthorized returns may not be accepted

Return Shipping Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method

  • Eye Gallery of Scarsdale is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments

Restocking Fees

Restocking fees may apply in certain cases depending on the condition of the returned item. Any applicable fees will be communicated during the return approval process.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of receipt

  • Include photos of the item and packaging when possible
     We will work promptly to resolve the issue.
